Son of a builder. 35+ years building homes and drawing the plans.

“I grew up watching my father build. I’ve been building ever since – Designing homes, managing home construction, developing subdivisions, and managing multi-million dollar projects. For the last several years I’ve been drawing the construction plans for other builders also. I know exactly what those plans need to say, because I’ve spent a career building from them.

Most people who draw construction plans have never built anything. They’ve done it on paper, in CAD — but never cut wood, poured a footing, or stood in a framing inspection explaining why the plans say one thing and the field says another. I have. For 35+ years.

I’m a draftsman, not an architect. But for residential construction up to two stories — custom homes, ADUs, remodels — I produce plans that are more complete, more buildable, and more useful than most of what comes from architects at two to three times the price because I’m also a builder.”

1971–1978 — Worked for his father on apartment projects. Learned construction from someone who built for a living while going to school.

1979–2005 — Founded a custom home building company, 26 years designing and building custom homes, developing subdivisions, and remodeling.

2006 — Moved to California. Built 30 tract homes managing all phases.

2006–2020 — High-end custom homes, commercial, and public works. Built 3,000–5,600 sq ft custom homes. Remodeled hospitals, medical centers, commercial buildings. Public works including library foundations, bridge widening, and LAUSD structural steel.

2020–now — Residential plan design and construction management. Designing custom homes and ADUs throughout California.
